Appspace Web Video

Appspace creates software to quickly build digital signage templates online and distribute them to multiple screens. They asked us to create an animation which demonstrated the features and uses for the software.

The 3D elements were created in Maya and then composited in After Effects. The 2D elements were designed in Illustrator and then animated in AE.

The scene where the different devices pop-on screen was modelled in Maya, and then rendered in an isometric mode. This gives a semi-3D effect as they spin on, and then completely 2D as they complete their animation.
